SjW Mushrooms was started by Steven & Joanne Willemse in 2011,
Having worked across all areas of mushroom cultivation for over 35 years, Steven has a reputation as being one of the best mushroom growers in Australia.
Today, the SjW Mushrooms farms at Woodford and Chevallum employ over 60 staff and produce 26 tonnes of mushrooms a week.
Eighty percent of the SjW farm's product goes to Brisbane and surrounds, as well as Woolworths and wholesale outlets throughout Queensland.
SjW also supply local Sunshine Coast businesses, leading restaurants, and Independent Supermarkets.

We ‘vacuum cool’ all our mushrooms to ensure they will stay white and fresh for up to 2 weeks if stored correctly in a refrigerator.

When buying mushrooms at the market or supermarket, choose ones that are firm, dry, and not bruised.
Avoid mushrooms that appear slimy or withered.
Store mushrooms in the refrigerator and do not wash or trim them until ready for use.
